My aim is to provide an accountancy service for your business that is modern and fresh thinking; helping you to understand the numbers and their implications using efficient digital systems so that the focus is on business profitability and not routine compliance as is so often the case with traditional accounting firms.

My Services

  • Finance Business Partner

    Acting as the in-house finance team for smaller businesses and start-ups where a full time finance director is not needed but part-time financial support is needed to support owners in their financial decision making. This will include:

    Managing or review of financial systems

    Support with operational systems where linked to finance

    Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts

    Preparation of cashflow forecasts

    e-commerce accounting

  • Xero setup and training

    I am a Xero certified advisor and will offer advisory services on Xero to include:

    Setting up Xero for businesses

    Reviewing and implementing systems within Xero to ensure efficient use

    Assisting with linking to operational systems

    Training for staff on using Xero

  • Traditional accounting services

    As a Chartered Accountant I will also be providing standard accounting services including:

    Statutory Accounts preparation and submission

    Compliance with Companies House and HMRC

    Corporation tax return preparation and submission

    VAT returns review or preparation and filing

    Payroll

About Me

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience working in general accountancy practice. After a successful career with two small practices, I have decided to start up my own practice to be able to provide a value added service I feel is often missed in a traditional accountancy practice.

From the start of my training I have always enjoyed making the books balance and following on from training I have enjoyed interpreting those books for my clients. I enjoy working with small and medium sized businesses as it allows me to be involved with the whole finance function in a business and able to assist the owners in their financial decision making. I am fluent in the preparation and submission of accounts and tax returns and I have also helped several companies to set up and maintain their bookkeeping systems. In addition to these tasks expected of a general accountancy practice I enjoy going above and beyond and acting as a finance business partner for your business including the preparation and interpretation of management accounts and cashflow statements.

Outside of work I am a mum to one child and one dog, I love the outdoors and my hobbies include reading and sewing.
